Tuesday’s The Deal Day Now? Here’s The Deals.

So for reasons probably stemming from Taco Johns relinquishing their Taco Tuesday rights, Tuesday has become the big day of the week for cheap eats. This week is no different, so peruse these deals at your own risk.

Taco Johns obviously has hardshell tacos for 1.29, and softshell tacos for 1.39.

Marco’s has its’ ever-present Buy One Get One Free pizza deal using the code FBBOGO1, or just make/login to the Marco’s website and it should be under your deals.

Boss Burrito in Paducah has $1 hard or soft tacos. They’re a little small, but the price means you can get a nice box of them for way cheaper than a box of tacos anywhere else. And you can choose a salsa. Choose peach salsa.

Sonic has its’ usual 1/2 Price Cheeseburgers deal. But really, it’s almost moot when there’s the amazingly affordable $1.99 grilled cheeseburger, which is bigger than McDouble, and honestly more satisfying in a weird way, especially when you add mayo and lettuce for free.

KFC is doing 1/2 chicken sandwiches on the app, and they have that new $5 Taste of KFC, but Tuesday is when they have a bucket of legs & thighs, that’s 8 pieces of chicken, for $10. Just open the bucket the instant you set it in your car seat, and try not to go right before they close, or you’ll receive the soggiest chicken you’ve ever touched to your lips.

This isn’t Tuesday specific, but Fazoli’s has a plate of half tortellini with meat sauce and half spaghetti with meat sauce for $5.99. I’m stating it here because I really don’t want to make a post about only that. But it’s a good deal, especially in-house where you get fresh-grated parm and endless breadsticks(also a family size cup of sauce is only $3, which makes for an amazing breadstick dipping cup).

Taco Bell has its drop of the day, but it’s time-specific and annoying. But oh ho ho. Today, at 4PM Central, if you sit on the app, have extremely good internet signal, have very fast reflexes, and have a bunch of good karma and good luck stored up, you might be one of the 500 people to score *cue The Price is Right losing sound* one free taco if you drive to Taco Bell every Tuesday. Hope you have a small stomach!

Those are the main Tuesday deals that I’ve noticed. Some of them sound appealing, but to be honest, Marco’s, Boss Burrito, and Taco Johns are pretty much the only ones I really hit up regularly. We’re also in a dry spot for cheaper eats right now, and there’s not much with a big wow factor other than the ones we already knew existed. Hopefully, the fact that we’re going out less with money becoming tighter and prices going will give incentive to restaurants to offer better deals instead of just hopping on the lukewarm $5 meal deal trend or the buy two for something gimmick. Until then, eat well.
