The discount fast food & fast casual dining scene has improved somewhat since early in the year, and here is quick update on some ways to save if you’re hungry, but don’t want to or can’t spend much.
Sonic has a BOGO free burger coupon if you have their app installed. There is also currently a BOGO free shake or blast, as well as a Buy 2 Get 1 Free Chili Cheese Coney, but I’m unsure if that was sent to everyone.
Burger King has their 2 for $5, which is a bit better than their offerings the last five years(which have been abyssmal). You can get a Whopper Jr. and an Original Chicken Sandwich, which is decent for calories to dollars.
Marco’s still has their BOGO free pizza on Tuesdays, but as far as I’ve seen, the store is also allowing their coupon on Wednesday! It’s still one of the best deals in fast food and fast casual, and honestly(if you don’t mind eating just pizza), you could practically live of this with a bit of planning and a decent air fryer.
Subway has apparently blitzed their coupons on the app once again in this area, as I wasn’t able to get any of them to work. They do have the $4 protein wrap, which has 25 grams of protein, and seems to me to be the one thing sort of worth getting there, mind you get plenty of veggies for nutrients and fullness.
Papa John’s has started a 50% off carryout orders sale, which is another solid option if you’re not going for Marco’s.
Applebee’s has their half price appetizers still up, which is a good late night meal.
O’Charley’s has a newly updated Happy Hour, with $6 full size appetizers for $6, or 2-5PM or 8-Close they have three piece tenders, fries, and a drink. Not bad for a weekday meal.
